While the Wheel of Fortune in the upright position is most frequently associated with good luck, destiny and life cycles, in the reversed position it can indicate that we are in for a little bad luck or that we are strongly resisting change. But life is full of ebbs and flows, ups and downs. These can sometimes leave us feeling a the mercy of fate, unable to do anything about it.
However, choosing helplessness is still a choice, and not likely to improve matters for us. When things seem to be against us, or we feel resistant to change, it is time to accept that change is inevitable, that we can learn from these challenges and come through them with a better idea of how to deal with similar situations in future.
The one positive side of this reversal is that we may have managed to break a negative cycle in our lives. The Angel Oracle card bears this out… the current cycle has had its day, and we are coming out of this negativity with a new understanding, ready to flow into a more positive cycle.
