Hi all. I’m back from my weekend away for a wedding. It is the first time in over two years that I’ve been out out. You know, not just out for a meal and drinks, but actually out with loads of people, chatting, dancing and not getting to bed on the same day I got up. Boy do I regret wearing high heels! For feet that have spent most of their time in slippers or flip flops, three inch heels was torture by the end of the night. And yes, I was one of those walking back to her hotel room in bare feet! Bliss (but slightly mucky).
Anyway, once rested and home again, it was time for the weekly focus draw. I decided to dust off my Gilded Tarot deck for a change. I just love the artwork on each card. I haven’t seen much of the Hanged Man in recent months but here he is, chilling out upside down, next to the Angel Oracle card, which is asking us to work out what we really want.
It looks like it’s time to call a “time out,” to simply be a human being, instead of a human doing. The Hanged Man is usually the universe signalling you to put the brakes on and try to look at things from a different perspective. Well, it doesn’t get more different than viewing the world while hanging around upside down!
When you add the Angel card’s advice to figure out what it is that will make your soul sing, you can see how well these two work together. The best way to find out what you truly want, is to take time out to sit quietly, think about where your are now, where do you really want to be, and how can you make this happen. It almost looks like a plan for a reading! If this is something you’d be interested in, just let me know. It usually pays you to take note of when the Hanged Man turns up. If the universe is signalling to you that you need to stop and revisit plans and projects, do it, because if you don’t, the message may get louder until you do. You have the option to step on the brakes yourself, or let the universe stomp on them for you… usually at the least convenient time!
If I can help you to revisit your career / personal development plans, to make sure they are what you really want, you know where I am. I’d be only too happy to help you.
In the meantime. Stay safe and healthy wherever you are.
