Weekly focus 21-02-22 Choose the loads you carry with care

Let go of old stuff… dig deep, you’re nearly there!

Did you know that past traumas can literally weigh you down? Me neither. Not until I had an in-depth chat with a psychologist friend of mine. Traumas from the past, if not processed and dealt with, can find some other way to be expressed by showing up in your physical body. Of course, there’s so much more to this topic than my opening paragraph but given the Angel Oracle card draw for this week, it reminded me of this conversation and my current battle of the bulge.

Like so many of us, after the overindulgence of Christmas, I need to shed a few pounds, 18 to be precise. So far, with the help of a weight loss program that focusses on the whys and wherefores, I have waved goodbye to 13 of the little blighters. However, and here’s where the oracle card advice kicks in, the remaining 5 are being tenacious to say the least. So, I’m taking the Angelic advice, using Tarot to uncover what I need to release, and letting it go.

What do you need to let go of? What are you holding on to that no longer serves your highest good? If you feel there is something but just can’t quite put your finger on it, message me and we’ll work on this together. Moving on to the Tarot card for this week, it seems to tie in nicely with the Angel advice. The Ten of Wands usually shows up when you have almost achieved a major goal but feel as if you have nothing left to give. The advice is to dig deep, keep going forwards, the finishing line is in sight. Yes, you might crawl over the line, lying in a heap of exhaustion at the end, but it is worth it to achieve that goal. I’m planning a release and let go ritual this week to help me identify what needs to be left in the past and what help is available to get closer to the goal.

Whatever the goal is for you this week, know that you can get one step closer by releasing issues from your past, know that you are almost there, and know that you can dig deep and strike out for the finishing line.
